More than i expected! Sep 03, 2010
By Anije G. I had read every review of this product and was a little worried but i was very happy when it got here. First: one of the reviews I read said that it didn't have hooks to hold it to the cage. Mine did, however I did use 2 C clamps to hold it on to the side of my cage because mine is strangely shaped and the hooks wouldn't reach the wires. Second: someone said that the sticker wouldn't come off, that is just a silly reason to mark down a product! my sticker was tough but with a little patience it came off no problem!!
I'm very happy with this litter box. Its the perfect size for my ferrets cage and holds just the right amount of litter. the sides are easy to clean and that is very important to me because my ferret backs in to the corner and it can get messy. i loved this litter box and will be recommending it!

By Jenna H. Beyer i bought this at the pet store, not on amazon, and am totally happy with it except for the fact that it took me more than 25 minutes and a huge amount of elbow grease to peel the plastic label off. it may sound trivial, but seriously, who practically shellacs their label on so much that it is practically a part of the product? how irritating! as if i would want to leave that ugly ridiculous crap on there. it does seem like it would connect to any cage, and it is big and deep enough, so so far i am happy with it. hopefully fran isn't afraid of the change to a new pan.

Not the item pictured Jul 20, 2010
By H Davies I actually have one of the litter trays pictured, and love it. It's a great product (except for the darn label, remnants of which are still visible over a year after purchase!), and has two-piece clips that lock this pan securely to the cage side. I recently ordered 2 more from Amazon, though, and received the new-style model, which is NOT pictured, and which does not have the two-piece cage locks to keep it in place. Instead, it has little tiny hooks which don't hook far enough over the cage wires. Consequently, it doesn't stay on the cage. If you can find the model pictured, I would recommend purchasing it. Buyer beware on the newer style.

litter pan Oct 06, 2010
By Nan I bought this litter pan for my 2 young rats. It's perfect. They love it and use it and I am quite pleased that it fits well in their cage and what belongs in the pan actually lands in the pan and not over the edge.

Label can't be removed--buy another brand if you want it off Jul 16, 2010

I suppose Super Pet thinks that I will be permanently advertising this item to my friends who might want to see my dwarf rabbit. Not true, because I actually managed to remove most of the text of their label. What the other reviewer said about removing the label is completely true--it is nearly an impossible task. I bought this from Amazon for one of my rabbits because I was in the process of moving and didn't have time to go to Pet Smart to grab one of their's. I did know about the label removal problem before I ordered it, in fairness, but because I didn't have the time to shop elsewhere I bought it anyway. I don't think anything other than acetone would completely remove the label, but that would also likley solvent some of the plastic of the litter pan into disolving--and the tray would have to be thoroughly washed and rinsed before one could put it in with one's pet. If not for the label issue, then I'd have given this a 4-star rating. The small cage corner litter pan that Pet Smart has gets the full 5 stars because it has a more sturdy, through-the-cage anchoring system. I think I expended as much labour to try to remove the label as the thing is worth. I even ran the new, unused litter tray through my dishwasher to try to soften the glue--sadly, it didn't work. In fairness, the litter box itself will do what you want it to. If you want the label to come off, don't buy it, or just buy it if you live where you have no other options, or if you don't have the time to buy it at a bricks-and-mortar store.
