PondCare AlgaeFix Works as Advertised Mar 29, 2008
By E. Landreth My girlfriend recommended this product to me. She has a stream with pool with fish and found the product to be very effective and safe for fish and other critters. I have two small fountains and a water-trough lilly pond and have used this stuff successfully for all three.

Amazing! Jun 16, 2008

We've a had a water feature in our yard for five years and during that time we've tried absolutely everything and nothing worked. last year my husband turned the entire river and pond bright blue trying to use an algae shade product. So far this year, we have no living algae, it dies and drops to the bottom where the filter removes it. We're buying more!

Great Product! Really works where others failed. May 05, 2011
By Vince I have a pond that is about 5 feet wide and 10 feet long, and averages 4 feet deep. It is in the hot, direct Florida sun all day long. Despite a good level of both surface and bottom plants, string algae was a big problem. Also, was cleaning the skimmer filter as often as daily. Tried another product, which didn't help at all. Was then told about Algaefix. Started using it as directed, and our problem improved dramatically within 1-2 weeks. Since the first month, I have uses a maintenance does of just under 1/2 cup each week (much less than weekly in the winter), and it keeps the string algae well under control. No adverse impacts on the plants (lilies, water lettuce, etc.) or the fish. Bought a gallon, and a year later, still have a good bit left. Highly recommended.

one shot wonder May 14, 2011
By marty,
"nice old man"
I thought multiple applications would be required for my algae-filled water garden. One single dose was all it took! If you've got fish, be verrrrry sure to keep the pump running for a few days. Otherwise, the oxygen level will drop too much.
