Amazing - worth every cent Apr 20, 2008
By James Skemp

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3RR532942ZAOZ I picked up one of these for my cat, who doesn't much care to be held, have her nails cut, etcetera. However, she loves this 'brush.'
Not only goes this magically work loose the hair, but it seems to give a good massage, and does a fairly good job of keeping the loose hair on the brush.
I've since purchased another of these, for a gift for my sister's cat (who seems to shed whenever he throws his massive bulk around) and two of the Zoom Groom For Dogs for two cockers my mother owns.
In all cases, they've worked wonders.
However, I have found that this brush is not as easy to handle as the one that is available for dogs.
Overall, I can't recommend this product enough; Kong sure knows how to make their products.

Mamie LOVES Her Zoom Groom! Apr 20, 2011
By Sugar Kowalczyk Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3E4F7LFXGP0EY Here's a video of the Zoom Groom so you can see it in action! Mamie loves it and gives it her "paws up" approval. Ike likes it, too, but didn't stick around long enough for the demo. I love it because it's effective, easy to clean, and gives you bonding time with your kitty.
ETA: Two of my coworkers borrowed the Zoom Groom to see if their cats would like it. Two of the cats hated it (hissed) and one (the ragdoll) liked it. The two cats that didn't like it apparently don't like any kind of brush, and I think the one was still cranky from having burrs cut out of his fur after an "adventure" in the hedgerow. I would say that if your cat likes to get brushed, he or she will likely love this product. If not, then it may be a gamble.

Orange Cat LOVES it Dec 08, 2006
By T. Hoffman My orange cat has medium-length hair and absolutely loves this thing. the sight of it will cause him to immediately jump on your lap in anticipation. i heard the zoom groom is meant to simulate the feel of the cat's mother's tongue - hence the deep connection. regardless, i highly recommend it.

The Zoom Groom Rules! Jan 25, 2007
By M. Snyder I inherited a Maine Coon cat and was overwhelmed at the task of taking care of her insanely long, thick coat. I tried all kinds of brushes and combs, but the Zoom Groom surpassed them all. Not only does it really, really work, she LOVES it! If I forget to groom her at the usual time, she goes over to the bin where it's stored and stares at me until I get the hint.
Not only does it get the loose hair off the cat, but afterwards it gets all the stray hair off the carpet and my clothes, too. My other (short-haired) cat has always been scared of brushes. Since the Zoom Groom fits in the palm of my hand, though, she doesn't see it coming and now SHE loves it, too.
Buy a Zoom Groom. Or maybe two.

Even TOUCH ME NOT Cats love this! Static Electricity Hint! Apr 23, 2010
By JessicaTheKat
"Meow"
EVERY cat that's owned me loves this brush. Some only allow me to use it to rub their chin or neck (usually the don't touch me's), others want a full body massage or something in between. Every cat has it's do's and don'ts. I must respect that.
The cat who adopted me last year is a, I want to be near you but do not touch me. I was shocked when I reached out with brush, gave her one tentative stroke and she immediately rolled over on her side, waited, kept her eyes on brush and I gave another stroke. Within a few seconds I learned she is a full body massage cat. I still can't pet her but she's ready for a complete brushing anytime.
HINT: brush is made of silicone, static electricity makes fur stick to it so it does not fly all over room. I like this. However in winter the static electricity increases, shocks the cat and pulls the fur uncomfortably. To avoid this & before brushing cat, I dampen brush with water using spray bottle or pass through tap water, give it one shake then brush cat. If static begins to build again, STOP or dampen again before continuing brushing.
