This is a cute swing for birds, and of course the mirrors are very popular with the birds as well. However, the item is not very sturdy, and our plum headed parakeets (a smallish, parakeet sized bird) immediately stripped the swing of the mirrors. The mirrors were the reason we bought this item, so now all we have is another swing, with bells only and no mirrors. If you have birds that don't like to tear things up, then this would work for them. Otherwise, I can guarantee it won't last even one day.

My parakeets LOVE this swing-The two mirrors are fascinating and they sleep on it at night! i have not been able to purchase it in my local pet stores any longer, so was thrilled that Amazon had it available!!!
